Irish Dancers?

Did you wonder where the Famous Irish Dancers have gone? Right here in Clear Lake! Audra had to wear her "costume" for pictures last night and I thought she was cute as a little lepricon! This is sans her hair ribbon and gold bows on her tap shoes. I confess....I am not a "dance mom". This being Audra's first time I walked in with the wrong colored tights (suntan! Don't they look suntan to you?), didn't know what the extra green piece of fabric was for (hair tie!) and no make-up! What my 7 year old needs make up for her picture. True to our form we were just a little off, but authentically us!

Tyra (yes little Tyra) gets confirmed

This, not so short, beauty on the right is Tyra Guldseth.....I flew home last weekend to surprise her!! She was confirmed in her church at a beautiful service on Saturday and her mommy on the left threw a beautiful brunch afterward. What a treat to get to be with my family for a few minutes with no children in tow . That will come this summer!!

It's a Small World after all...

What was even funnier is while Lucy, Gunnar, Audra and Katherine enjoyed a mini balloon ride packed in like sardines....a balloon next to them held two adult women (not of small stature) and two children that looked like an old Disney movie. I could hardly contain my laughter. It was too much.....the children they were toting where too young to enjoy the ride and they exposed butt cracks and all just to wedge their way in. Oh...I could feel they're pain. Somebody stop me from this!!!
**Our kids however, thought it was a treat to ride around in tight circles by themselves on a mini hot air balloon!

Audra's birthday PARTY!!!!!!

Audra loved every single phone call!! she savord her songs!! Thank you for thinking of her that day.
Audra wanted a puppy party. They groomed their puppies at Audra's Puppy Parlor (sound a little like Tyra and Greta!!??)

Happy Birthday Audra Colette

Today.....Audra turned 7. Just like that she went from being a crying newborn to a vibrant first grader! In her little life she has suffered from reflux, horrible life changing ezcema, food allergies and asthma. She has seen two baby boys born into her family she has learned how to ride bike with no training wheels (when she was only four), has been on more road trips than I had by the time I was 18 and has a love for purses that rivals her Auntie Jann's. She is devoted to her family on both sides. She loves her cousins and talks about them all the time. She is funny and silly and fragile all at the same time. She is loving and reserved, fisty at times and a well behaved student. And today.....she's seven! Happy Birthday Pickle! We love you!!

I just can't seem to keep up with birthdays.....celebrating birthdays in this stellar week are my precious cousin Michelle on April 8th...
And none other than Kirsie....turning a whopping 26!!!!! Well at least she looks like it. Oh what a sweet birthday she'll have.
