The crop of Lindamans (except for Uncle Chad....whom we missed). This is Christmas Eve. Slightly adorned...static hair with sweaters and coats. We had our Christmas Eve service all together and Jann & Den's church. I am so grateful for our time in MN at Christmas this year. It's a highlight for the year....
MorMor & Grandpa with slightly less adorned children post celebration!! Full bellies and gifts to be opened! This feels like one of those photos to be looked back on with all cousins present!
Playing games.....all the girl cousins and Joey:)
Is it mid-September? late October? Or end of December here in Houston. This Fall, rumor has it that our drought along with a spell of warm days and cool nights gave us a real Fall which we normal see come and go with little fanfare. Only our Fall came at Christmas. These pictures are taken the last day of school just a few days before heading to MN for Christmas. The kids and I loved walking home every day for a few weeks with real Fall colors on the leaves. I have to say growing up in Minnesota this messes with my system. I could not get into the idea of Christmas while we were playing in leaves? The really strange part is that while we were gone in MN we had rain. Yes....several days of rain and the temperatures warmed up and we now have green grass!!!!!! We had dead dying grass all summer and now January we have green grass!!
There is something a little magical when you see them light up the castle at night with the fairy godmother coming onto one of those little balconies and waving her want and poof up go the lights!
One for the memories... We did it, we made it through a week of Disney with four young kids. Thank you Mimi and Poppy!
It was warm (as you can see by shorts) so we had a moment with the snowman trying to remember it was Thanksgiving and not the 4th of July!
