In a week's time Dane broke his toe.... simply running at lightening speed to find me to show a picture he had colored! He ran across this hard tile floor and snapped his big toe like a celery stick!! He wore his boot for less than three weeks when he woke up one day, figured out how to take it off and simple said in a loud two year old voice "NO BOOT MOMMY! NO BOOT!" So...alas he has had a broken toe and broken collar bone in 9 months time. the black eye below was a result of a "football game" in the boys room. Gunnar's head, Anders' eye. They both came out laughing?? My hope was that trotting into preschool to drop Anders off I wouldn't not be singled out as needing to be reported to CPS!!??

Fun Run...
Runners to your mark: Anders (1K, Audra 5K, Gunnar 1K)
There's a bit to catch up on....but here is one of our latest outings. We had our annual Brookwood school Fun Run. I volunteer to help with this each year and it's actually good fun. Gunnar was still getting over a cough so he trotted through his 1K but encouraged his classmates. Anders was in the PreK/Kindergarten run and he places 2nd over all of those kids. He ran like a maniac!! And Audra did the 5K again this year and got second overall the Brookwood girls...finishing around 34 minutes. Pretty good for shorty!
Just two days later we started the adventure of a week! Anders woke up throwing up Monday morning and was in the hospital by Tuesday afternoon....he was there through Thursday evening on IV fluids and was basically asleep for most of it. He had, what we think, was rotavirus. All the other kids had a much lighter version of this over the week. Some threw up, slight fever and then back on their feet. Anders however......6 days. Long week.... If I never clean up throw up or diarrhea again in my life it would be TOO SOON!!!!!!!! AND....can I have the hospital survey please. There are a few comments I'd like to make!!!!!!
