One of the fun things about watching Gunnar play soccer is for a brief moment I can picture what he'll look like as a grown up boy. He's so precious, loves to play, encourages his teammates, tries to tell the coaches how they should play him and loves a fun drink after the game!!!

Four Months

This is usually what it looks like.....Dane in his seat with Anders next to his face! We went to his four month appt and she measured him twice cause he was "off the charts" long!!

3 days of rain!

TWO full DAYS of RAIN!! Our backyard is now Lake Carlson!

All week we've been practicing.... "He is RISEN!".... response: HE IS RISEN INDEED!!
This morning we shout to our children.... HE IS RISEN and Gunnar shouts back confidently... He's in PRISON INDEED!!!!!!

It was actually quite cool this evening we went to see the sun..set...but it was beautiful! We had such a good time!!!! Can't you just see these kids all grown up and this picture at their wedding!!!

Sister Jill!

We just had a wonderful time with my sister Jill and Tanyi who came for several days of their Spring Break....
(don't be distracted by the wallpaper!) this picture was a mini celebration of Audra's upcoming b-day.
We packed their time with Kemah (boardwalk that's just reopened since Hurricane Ike), NASA and they even went to Galveston.
Our neighbor happened to be coming back from 13 days in space the very day we were at NASA so we got to see lots of footage of John Phillips and see him land at Kennedy Space Center and Sunday the kids went up to welcome he and the entire crew back from space. Now that's some interesting neighbors.
**today I talked to him over our back fence and said "how was your trip"? He's logged over 200 days in space!
