Just another Soccer Saturday...

Happy Birthday Anders Kristofor Carlson

This child....this ultimate risk taker, scooter trickster, animated, sometimes highly emotional, deep thinker is now 5!! At his request we are going bowling Saturday night with the Whitlocks to celebrate!! Today is cupcakes and grilled cheese.
When I asked him today...."would you like your gifts today? or at your party Saturday night?" He quickly responded..... "OH I can wait, I don't need them. I can open them SAturday". Seriously?? discipline?

AND AND....... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CHRIS!!! Chris had his birthday a week ago!! WE love you both October boys !!

Soccer Season

It's true....we have three kids in soccer this year. Anders has started his first soccer season and it's as expected. He's the bomb on the field. If he didn't have little Alejandro out there who is a superstar in yellow cleats he may be the sole possessor of the ball. He is a blast to watch!

Gunnar is back in the swing. He fell in love with baseball last Spring and I wasn't sure he would make the switch back to soccer....I was wrong. He plays every day at recess "except on Fridays because Nicholas doesn't really like soccer so we all agreed to take a day off". Good negotiations for second graders!

Audra's soccer skills match her personality. She is a little shy on offense and literally shines at defense. I don't worry about getting scored when Audra plays full back cause she will fight to the death to get the ball out of there!
